Good opportunity to join a local long established company in Northfleet. · To undertake the main duties of the warehouse operative · Provide daily operational leadership · Train team members (process & operating platform) · Managing daily resource · Achieve tasks & deadlines · Support delivery of improvements & initiatives · Participate effectively in meetings · Structure daily workload of team & individuals · Ensuring the process is followed · Daily operational discipline · Daily communication meeting with team · Support warehouse supervisor activities during periods of absence. Equipment: Forklift trucks, weighing scales, labelling machines, picking guns, computer workstations Knowledge, Experience, Abilities required to do the job e.g. manual dexterity, numerical, verbal. Practical skills required. Proven supervisory experience in a warehouse environment. Ability to read and write English clearly. Basic computer skills (esp. Outlook). Understanding of health & safety regulations Specific technical/specialist skills required to do the job Fork Lift Experience – In-houseUse of bar-coding / scanning equipment Fork truck licence – counter balance Fork truck licence – reach Cherry picker licence Use of labelling machines Use of weighing scales Driving Licence Physical Requirements i.e.
