Refrigeration Engineer The opportunity has arisen to join a well established, award winning company with offices nationwide. The current position is based out of the South East region office. Job Purpose To build, install, maintain and service, refrigeration plant safely in accordance with company specifications to comply with appropriate codes of practice and to the satisfaction of the customer. Accountabilities · Fabricate fit and assemble refrigeration plant components in accordance with work instructions and to client quality standards. · Respond as instructed to contract maintenance or service requests for systems inspection repair or overhaul. Attend to system failures, diagnose faults, identify solutions and rectify. Secure approval for supplementary or extra work before proceeding. · Check parts and materials kit and report shortages so that lost time and delay can be prevented. Seek appropriate approval for any substitutions Ensure that obsolete documentation is not in use and design packs, drawings or documents, as issued, are to hand and followed. · Comply with site safety requirements and working practices as documented or instructed. Liaise with management and supervisors as required · Implement client policies for safe handling, recovery and reuse of refrigerant. · Inspect systems in accordance with appropriate schedules or build features. Implement any agreed preventive or corrective action plan and complete applicable record sheets or lists. · Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas, taking appropriate precautionary measures to contain waste and spillage. Routine cleaning equipment must always be available. · Produce and maintain records required in relation to the receipt and inspection of materials. Complete job record sheets and timesheets for cost control or other purposes as stipulated by company procedures. Obtain customer representative signature before leaving site. · Install and commission new or replacement plant and as appropriate take responsibility for sub-contract staff. Operate within the framework of client preferred standards and project management procedures. · Suggest improvements in plant design, via balanced concise proposals. Document in company Field Report system. · Adhere to the standards of behaviour and courtesy expected of a employee when dealing with suppliers, customers representatives and the general public Performance Standards Work completed within targeted man hours Meet service response standards -jobs not left unfinished ,delays avoided; no complaints or call backs. The role of Repair Technician involves the repair and refurbishment of receipt printers used in the retail trade. This involves stripping down the printer ready for washing, re-assembling, oiling, greasing and adjusting, testing and basic faultfinding

Previous experience in a similar working environment is preferred but consideration will be given to anyone who can show an aptitude for mechanical work, such as hobbies involving use of small hand tools, and an eye for detail. Experience in soldering would be an advantage as is any basic knowledge of electronics and reading circuit diagrams, though these are not essential as full training will be given.

Customer Service, Ability to communicate with all internal customers and team members. Expectations and Specifically, operators, technicians, team leaders, and quality staff Responsibilities:regarding all aspects of running their cell. Including throughput and data collection information. Main Responsibilities: ·De-sprue moulded products from all cell machines, ensuring the processes for the flow of work are followed to prevent contamination and mixed parts. ·Inspect moulded parts inline with quality requirements i.e. visual faults, short shots, flash, mismatch etc, and complete in-process documentation. ·Monitor machine counters for order quantity requirements adjusting as required, and inform setter on order completion. ·Monitor and record any machine downtime within the cell. ·Control floor loss and scrap, recording results and monitoring. ·Package processed parts, manually or using semi-automated equipment in line with customer specifications, ensuring parts are free from any faults. ·Monitor and record overruns that are produced. ·Use the company labelling systems to identify products in line with internal and customer specifications. ·Undertake secondary operations within the cell that require the use of assisted machinery i.e., taping processes, cutting activities, inline with customer specifications. ·Record and monitor daily throughput within the cell. ·Provide general operator cover in line with the operator matrix as required. ·Ensure that processes and procedures in place are followed, and ensure that any information is recorded when required. ·Adhere to the company rules and regulations. ·Ensure Health & Safety rules and regulations are adhered to at all times. ·Maintain housekeeping standards consistent to company policy. ·Participate in the development and implementation of lean manufacturing techniques. ·Undertake internal or external training that is required to fill the job role. ·Participate in other tasks as deemed necessary and within reason
